We are not accepting applications at this time but please check back during Spring 2025 when applications will re-open for 2025 NCRC Weeklong Training in Covington, VA (exact dates TBD ~July)

Number of awards provided depends on the overall cost of the training, as well as the number applying for the scholarship. It is our mission to fund as many applicants as possible for these trainings.

If you receive a scholarship, you will be responsible for paying the remainder of your registration fees. In the event the scholarship winner does not attend the training, funding will not be awarded. In the event the course is cancelled, no funding will be dispersed and the application process will start anew with a new course.

Must be 18 or older to apply. Priority for selecting scholarship recipients will be based on several criteria, including:

• Proximity to Indiana’s highest density cave regions (i.e South-Central)
• Involvement in local cave-related organizations and initiatives (grotto membership, conservation efforts, other related activities)
• Likelihood of long-term commitment to the Indiana cave community
• Financial need
• Level 1 training applicants if applying for NCRC Weeklong

*Note: Candidates who have already been selected for an NCRC national scholarship for the same training will be ineligible to also receive one from INCRS
